"Dahling Accessories"

"Duke & Winston"

Although all men aren’t dogs, this fashion line earned its sophisticated name from a bulldog and a Brit who was, well, nicknamed a “bulldog”. Duke & Winston, a light casual-wear brand for men that places substance, refinement, and practicality above the garish men’s fashions of today, is the brainchild of Seun Olubodon and his English Bulldog, HRH the Duke. Suakoko Betty

Suakoko who? One look at these authentic West African wax and resist-dye printed dresses and separates and you’ll never forget the name of this unique fashion line. The company’s name, "suakoko," (pronounced SWAH-ko-ko) means place of new beginnings in Gio, a West African dialect, and is also the name of a renowned Liberian female warrior-chief. Drawing from this inspiration, it’s no wonder that Liberian designer Charlene Bendu Dunbar has managed to create bold, trend-setting designs for women. The brightly colored tie-dye fabrics are hand-dyed in Liberia and hand-made in the USA in limited quantities to ensure that each garment is unique. "Sultana Aschim"

Sultana's 'Silver Lining' - From high-polished sterling silver accessories to intricate brass and copper designs, Sultana Aschim allows her clients to “rock out” to heavy metal. She gathers much of her inspiration from nature, transforming leaves, pods and dried flowers into unique focal points on her rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Blackened then polished silver, a consistent theme of Aschim's work, brings attention to the intricate textures she creates on her pieces. Perhaps the most impressive quality of Aschim’s work lies in her versatility— smooth gemstones provide several pieces with a delicacy that is contrasted with the rawness of her abstract, soldered metal pieces.
